Unexpected costs are one of the biggest frustrations homeowners face during a build.
We're removing that friction from the start so you have one less thing to worry about as you plan your new deck.

We believe homeowners should know exactly what to expect when starting a deck project — no hidden costs, no last-minute add-ons, no stress.
Permits are required on most deck projects — and they’re rarely included in estimates which makes them an added expense homeowners don't see coming.

We are based in Marietta and serve the greater Atlanta Metro. Our service area extends up to a 50 mile radius from Marietta.
We design and build new decks, replace or upgrade existing decks, and can integrate features like railings, stairs, landings, and certain accessories like fireplaces or TV walls depending on your home and local codes. Your deck can be ground level, raised, or multi story. It can be open or covered or even attached to a screened in porch, patio or sunroom
Timelines vary based on design complexity, permitting, and weather, but we’ll give you an estimated schedule with your quote and keep you updated if anything changes.
A standard tear-down and replacement deck that requires permitting can take approximately five days once construction begins.
That timeline can vary slightly depending on:
— Inspection scheduling
— Deck height and structural complexity
— Material selections (composite vs. pressure-treated, railing systems, etc.)
Because we pull proper permits, inspections are built into the timeline — which protects you and ensures everything is built to code.
Before construction starts, we conduct a detailed “takeoff” to confirm final measurements and materials so there are no surprises once the build begins.
Our goal is to complete your project efficiently — without cutting corners.
Our consultations typically take 30–45 minutes. We won’t hold you hostage for half the day — but we will our time together efficiently.
We’ll take measurements and discuss your ideas, but we also conduct a deeper needs-assessment conversation to ensure your project matches how you’ll actually use the space.
We’ll talk through:
- How you realistically plan to use the space
- Sizing options
- Maintenance considerations
- Budget expectations
- Add-ons or planning for future upgrades (hot tubs, outdoor kitchens, entertainment/TV wall)
- Inspiration you may have from Pinterest or other photos
Sometimes homeowners come in wanting the entire back of their house built out — and after a short conversation, realize they don’t actually need 600 square feet of deck to maintain.
Our goal isn’t to sell the biggest project possible. It’s to help you make a confident, informed decision about what fits your lifestyle and needs.
Most deck projects require permits — and we handle them for you from getting architectural drawings (if required) to filing with the county. We also cover all permitting fees for you to help limit any unexpected add-on expenses.
Permits aren’t just paperwork. They’re protection for you as a homeowner.
They ensure the work is inspected, built to code, and properly documented so your added square footage counts toward your home’s value.
They also protect you in the event of insurance claims.
If you encounter a company charging $4,000–$5,000 just for permits, that can sometimes be a red flag. It may indicate they’re not properly licensed and are paying to “borrow” another contractor’s license to pull the permit. We strongly recommend working with a licensed general contractor who handles permits correctly — and transparently.
The sales rep you meet on day one will be your dedicated project manager and will stay involved throughout the project duration. For most projects, you’ll also have a superintendent assigned. We typically create a group text so you have direct access to the people managing your build that way you won’t be left wondering who to call.
We work with dedicated exterior and interior crews who have been with us for 12–15+ years minimum. These are long-standing working relationships that have been built on trust, consistency and accountability.
We use progress-based payments.
That means you’re not paying one large lump sum upfront while waiting for work to begin.
Payments are structured around milestones as the project progresses starting with an initial deposit to secure materials.
Yes — we offer flexible financing options to help make your remodeling project more manageable and accessible.
Perimeter Remodeling partners with GreenSky, a trusted financing provider to offer options such as zero down*, interest-free* plans for 6 or 12 months, and monthly payments as low as $69/month*, depending on credit approval and project scope.
Financing is available for all types of remodeling projects, including decks, sunrooms, screen rooms, roofing, siding, windows, exterior painting, pergolas, and more.
Our team will walk you through the available options, answer your questions, and help you choose a plan that fits your budget — without pressure or surprises.
The goal is to make it easier to move forward with the project you want, on terms that feel comfortable for you.
*All financing is subject to credit approval. Terms, rates, and monthly payments vary based on lender approval and project details.
We provide a 36-month craftsmanship warranty on all workmanship and installation performed by Perimeter Remodeling.
That means for three full years from the date of substantial completion, we stand behind the quality and integrity of the work we’ve installed. If a verified workmanship issue materially impacts the performance or integrity of the project, we will inspect it promptly and correct it professionally — at no additional cost.
All work is performed in accordance with applicable building codes and established industry standards.
Many of the premium materials we install (such as roofing shingles, Hardie® siding, windows, PVC/composite decking, railing systems, and specialty finishes) also carry their own manufacturer warranties, which operate independently from our workmanship coverage.
Our goal is simple: deliver exceptional work — and stand behind it with integrity.
